Made from scratch in blender and textured in substance painter.
Comes with all expected PBR maps and pre-made materials for Poiyomi 9 toon.
Includes animations, parameters, fx and menu.

Door and latch are rigged if you wish to make your own animations or do some physbone interactions.

Step ladder and picture frames are in their own object named "OPTIONAL STUFF". You can safely delete these, but make sure to also alter the menu if you do.

Picture frames come with some pre-made materials using AI generated images using Adobe Firefly and one picture from one of my own avatars Dee. Included is a texture that very clearly shows you where your own images can go. UV mapped for 16:9 pictures.
The "main" part of the bowls are UV'd and orientated in an easy to edit way.
Use Photoshop or Gimp (free) or something to edit these :)

Asset uses Poiyomi Toon 9.0.57 (not included) and will NOT look good with ancient versions like 7.3. Please stop using ancient shader versions <3

STATS

  • Puppy house itself: 7300 tri, 3 materials (Main house + bars, curtains+ pillow, bowls + hinges + latch)
  • Picture frames: 135 tri each, 1 material each (6 included in prefab)
  • Step ladder: 140 tri, 1 material (included in prefab)
  • Default prefab stats: 8250 tri, 10 materials

    This asset will add 3 bones to your avatar; House root, door, latch
    18 synced parameter slots are required for the included 3.0 setup

    NOTE! House scale is handled by an animation for ingame customization! Edit the animation if you want the size to be different.
    Door and latch are handled by animating the bone rotations. Any changes you make to those in unity probably won't show up for you ingame!

Setup

Import Avatars 3.0 Manager by VRLabs
Import YPT Puppy house unity package
Drag prefab "Puppy house constraint" into your scene
Drag prefab on your avatar (NOT on the armature!)
Unpack prefab
Drag "Reset Transform" located in Puppy house constraint > Container > Puppy house final onto your avatar
Open Avatars 3.0 Manager (found in the VRLabs tab on your toolbar)
Merge your avatars FX with the "!Puppy FX" located in Assets > !Puppy house > !3.0 (merge on current)
Merge parameters located in the same folder
Add a new control to your existing menu, name it whatever, set type to "SubMenu", leave parameter empty, drag "!PuppyMenu" into the Sub Menu

Also before anyone starts, you know who you are; please read the main page of my shop.
It clearly states to "Please keep in mind that everything I make is done so with my own preferences and standards in mind and they will likely be different from yours!".
I don't care about optimization. The VRC community in general doesn't care. If they did, there would be more optimized avatars and assets for sale but clearly nobody wants to buy that sh*t.
Decimating using cats does not automatically make for better performance, putting many unwrapped meshes on one UV map will make your textures look like garbage and people just want pretty stuff.

Please stop complaining and leave me tf alone about optimization. I just want to create my own stuff and share it with those that want it.
